To refresh your memory, I began this independent study with the goal of increasing College of Charleston Baseball social media followers by 50 people
...let's take a look at these numbers, shall we?
CofC Baseball TWITTER Followers:
Beginning of Season February 2016: 7,452
End of Season May 2016: 8,276
CofC Baseball INSTAGRAM Followers:
Beginning of Season February 2016: 1,165
End of Season May 2016: 2,065
Doing the math, that means that in the time I created social media content for the team, its Twitter followers increased by 824 people in 3 months, (9 new followers a day) which puts social media percentage growth at 11%.
Instagram followers increased by 900 people in 3 months (10 people a day) or a 77% increase in followers.
I am proud to say that I not only exceeded my goal but enjoyed every step of the process!
