snap chat goes gatorade

In the world of sports media, Super Bowl Sunday means prime time advertising.

My favorite part of the festivities this year was laughing at all of my friends celebrating by dumping a few gallons of orange sports drink over their heads with Snap Chat's "sponsored lens" by Gatorade.

I have to say, Gatorade really got it right with this one--obviously people fully expect to be bombarded with ads during the game, but Gatorade found a way to get tons of publicity by making things fun for consumers.

Lesson learned for the day: Make the message and delivery strong, smart, and simple.

100+ million views? Looks like you were the real winner, Gatorade. Well played.
